# Is it possible to set a maximum time limit for responding to meeting requests?

Yes, it's possible to **set a time limit for attendees to respond to meeting requests**. This advanced feature streamlines scheduling and prevents unnecessary delays.

### How does it work?

With this option enabled, you can configure a **maximum response time** (for example, 24 or 48 hours). Once that time has elapsed:

* The request may be **accepted automatically**, or
* The **time slot is released**, allowing new applications.

The behavior will depend on the configuration chosen for the event.
