# How do meetings work in the virtual event?

The meeting functionality is also available in the **virtual event**, offering an experience very similar to that of the apps, but optimized for desktop browsing.

#### Service configuration

The meeting system setup in the virtual event is exactly the same as in the apps.\
From the management panel you can define:

* If meetings between attendees are enabled.
* The maximum number of appointments per attendee.
* The modality (face-to-face, virtual or hybrid).
* The area category for automatic room assignment (if applicable).
* Other advanced options include feedback or time limitations.

#### How do attendees access the event?

Attendees can manage their meetings from two main access points:

* **From the list of attendees**, click on a contact to view their profile and request a meeting.
* **From their personal profile > Meetings**, where they can also:
  * Submit new applications.
  * Check the meetings that have already been confirmed.
  * View pending confirmations or rejected ones.

The entire process of requesting, confirming, or rejecting meetings is done directly from the virtual event environment.

#### Operational flow

This video shows the basic user flow for attendees:
