# Can meetings that have already been confirmed be cancelled?

Yes, with a custom feature, it's possible to allow attendees to **cancel confirmed meetings directly from the app**. This option offers greater flexibility in managing schedules during the event.

### How does it work?

With this feature enabled:

* **Either of the two attendees** may cancel a previously confirmed meeting.
* When cancelling, you are required to **provide a mandatory reason**, which will be visible to the other person.
* Once cancelled, **the time slot is automatically released**, allowing new meetings to be received or requested for that same time.

### How do I activate it?

This option is **not included by default**. If you would like to add it to your event, please **contact the Eventool team** to discuss custom configuration options.
